Towards a Just and Equitable Internet


An international meeting to formulate a progressive response to issues of global governance of the internet was held on February 14-15, 2014 in Delhi. A key outcome from this global meeting of civil society actors  was the formation of the Just Net Coalition and the drafting of The Delhi Declaration which recognized that the internet is a vitally important social infrastructure that impacts our societies.

The declaration emphasized the need of the internet to advance human rights and social justice and that internet governance should be truly democratic.
